A stunning pair of high back Rennie Mackintosh style chairs made for Freuds Limited of London, c1980s. The original design of these chairs was by Rennie Mackintosh for the Glasgow Tea Rooms, Ingram Street, c1900.   These chairs were produced under license by Freuds Limited of London in the 1980s for their cafe bar on Shaftesbury Avenue,  one of the iconic London cafes of the 1980s.  Made of English oak using the traditional skills and methods,  padded drop in seat, seat newly covered in calico, ready for upholstery. 

Dimensions:  H150cm, H47cm (to seat), W48cm, D45cm
