Shipping Information

For smaller items 

Smaller items are shipped, fully insured and with tracking numbers, via DPD or the Royal Mail.  In most cases, a signature will be required upon delivery.  

Shipping rates are calculated according to size and weight, and will be quoted on a case by case basis.   Please contact us to discuss delivery options and to get a quote. 

We aim to dispatch all smaller items within 3-5 working days.  

UK: 1-2 day courier / postal services

EU: 3-5 day courier services

US and Australia:  5-10 day courier services

For furniture (freight) items 

We prefer to ship any furniture items using couriers; it is the most reliable way of getting it to you safely.  We will need to provide you with a quote, depending on the size / number of items purchased, and the delivery address.  Note that the delivery cost is not automatically calculated for these items at check out:  shipping costs will show as £0. Please contact us to get a quote.

Where possible,  we try to deliver the furniture ourselves, and have regular delivery schedules to most parts of the UK.  Where that is not the case, we use trusted third party couriers. We can discuss the options available with you. Once your purchase is confirmed,  we will pass your details on to the courier, and they will contact you directly to coordinate scheduling and delivery times.  We are happy to assist you with any queries/issues you may have regarding delivery. 

Some guidelines on delivery charges:

London, Home Counties, Cheshire and Merseyside:  estimated cost £20-£60  (depending on distance) with delivery within 1 week.

Rest of mainland UK (including Scotland and Wales): estimated cost £60-£80 + VAT (depending on distance) with delivery within 1-2 weeks. 

Ireland / N. Ireland: estimated cost £95 + VAT, delivery within 1-2 weeks

These guidelines are for a one man courier service, fitting into a region-based delivery schedule.  Items can be delivered 7 days a week, depending on that regional schedule, so some flexibility is needed.  Contact us if you would like more tailored arrangements, or to arrange your own delivery service.

EU and Rest of the World: We work with couriers and agents to ship items to Europe, US, Canada and Australasia. Please contact us for details and costs.

Packaging

All our deliveries are carefully wrapped in a Furnisoft protective wrapping before dispatch. Our recommended couriers typically blanket wrap freight items for transportation. Additional packaging can be provided on request, and is subject to an extra charge.

Returns

We like our buyers to be happy with the items they purchase from us; please do ask as many questions as you need before making your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not happy with an item you have purchased from us, please get in touch. Items returned for a refund must be returned within 14 days of receipt, in the same condition as when they left us, and buyers are responsible for the cost of returning the item.
